Now THIS is interesting. I don't believe I've ever seen an IRC battle turned into a fanfic before now... I've certainly never seen one pulled off in such an epic and enjoyable manner. For those of you who don't know, this fic basically takes a chat-based fight (you know, basically a duel created entirely by description and original attacks and counters) between Gasper and Nanaki, and adds description to the nth degree. The result is one of the best and most complete fight scenes I've ever seen, anywhere.

Of course, the one problem in this fic is the one problem I've always had with Gasper's writing: grammar. I fear there are several grammar problems, but nothing that makes the story unreadable, or really even detracts that much from it. It is noticeable, though.

Also, characters were done very well... but it would have been very hard for them to have not been, seeing as this entire thing was taken from an actual IRC log. It was a bit overdramatic in places, but those bits, due to the feel of all IRC meetings involving the Icy Brian group, were handled almost comedically, and were a lot of fun to read through. Very nice work, I must say.
